Who: Joss, Sagi, and Yoichi the real protagonist of this game, Hana-chan
Where: underground passages in the mountains
When: somewhere in the second week of december idk time is fake
What: Joss, having found some clues regarding the missing kids, decides to investigate with whatever help he could find
[Joss, perhaps to everyone's surprise, has managed to string enough words together to ask about Team Headbands and the missing children around the various Hami camps, eventually learning that the ruins near Melona weren't an isolated incident.
It's not something he can ignore. He's a JRPG protagonist. And because he's a JRPG protagonist, he knows the value of teamwork when it comes to going after a villainous group. His first reflex is, of course, to find the people he'd initially investigated the ruins with; but with the recent chaos of the evacuation, it seems a lot of them have become elusive.
He did find Sagi, though. Yoichi he doesn't know as well, and wouldn't have normally asked... but his little Spinda had seemed really incensed when he'd mentioned the headbands within her earshot. It's true that Hana-chan had ended up part of the ruins investigation as well, albeit accidentally...
It's with the assistance of the two children he'd helped rescue, as well as his own Drampa's, that Joss and his companions finally find the place the kids were found...]
