The nightmare is finally over and the aftermath sinks in. Wherever you are, news will eventually spread that the pokemon stopped their rampaging status, looking confused and some horrified by what had happened around them. Mari's Steelixes are finally off their guard duty, people are crying out of various emotions and people who are physically well enough flood out of the shelters in an attempt to search for their loved ones out there, whether they be people or pokemon. Some are reunited, some are not. Either way, people are in this together, comforting others over their losses and rebuilding the city. There's been quite a lot of destruction apart from the Pokemon Center and the hospital, after all. Some buildings are missing a roof, holes on the side wall, doors knocked down... some are unfortunate to have been entirely blasted away by an extremely strong rampaging pokemon's hyper beam (thanks, random Hydreigon).

After most people calm from their initial high emotions, the reconstruction starts. Of course, they also contact the people from Toran who helped with reconstruction efforts. Looks like the handymen will never rest...

The Pokemon Center is looking for additional manpower, getting pokeballs here to there, labeling whose pokemon are whose in things looking like incubators for those in queue of getting healed, and managing supplies. They are extremely short-staffed right now, so they will be looking for any help possible. Though, if you cause too much trouble than helping, you may be politely asked to leave or to help somewhere else. They don't have time for this. During the nights, the Pokemon Center may be crowded. After all, many people just lost their homes. They got nowhere to go.

The hospital is similar, in which they are also short-staffed. They're looking for disaster volunteers, and especially pokemon with healing capabilities to lessen the load on doctors and nurses who need to care for the more gravely wounded. With more help, the hospital will no longer seem as chaotic as before, but more along the lines of an orderly busy time. It helps that the people are no longer stuck inside due to the ongoings of the events outside, so the hospital is emptier than before, compared to when it was jam packed. The mental health department is also using Drowzees and Munnas to give people good dreams and eating nightmares without repercussions so that they can have a good night's rest. Not all wounds are physical, after all.

With the local Mart's help and other establishments, some people band together to supply people with food and drinks in a very open area in the park. Take a breather and eat something. If you look like you're running yourself ragged, one of the townspeople will drag you to eat and drink a proper meal. They don't need another patient in the hospital right now.

Remember that boba shop? Or those restaurants that you had the delicious meat from? Their damages vary from a broken window to being absolutely trashed. Pokemon and people alike are helping with moving the debris and cleaning up the mess. Someone piped up about recycling broken glass to make brand new windows with fire pokemon and proper glass making methods, so please don't throw them away!

The Radio Tower and the cemetery tower? They're both closed off to the public right now with yellow police caution tapes all around them. Your friendly policemen who all look the same advise nearby people to stay away from the two buildings at the moment. Please don't cause trouble or ask them questions... they're tired as it is like everyone else and they're not allowed to say anything for now, if ever. Your energy is better used elsewhere.

[ Sooyoung reaches out to Fai's broom and it looks like she'll attempt to tell him where it is by pointing it at the spot he missed, but she just pushes down the handle end of the broom, making the cleaning end fly up and possibly hit Fai if he doesn't dodge. ]

[partymagician]

[ He expects this kind of thing from Sooyoung by now, so he's prepared to get hit in the face with something. He's able to dodge it just in time, smiling at her while he does. ]

Be careful! There's still shards of glass on that end.

[ Which is probably why she did that anyway. ]

Yup, I know.

[ Maybe she had faith in Fai's dodging capabilities. But does she ever hold faith in anyone? Debatable. Anyway, she goes to the broken machine in the back that has yet to be carried out, presumably resuming her search in looking for something and... huh. ]

Catman, do you lift?

[ She doesn't look at him, and continues to peer into the broken machine. ]

[partymagician]

[ Does he look like he does? ]

You want me to try carrying that?

[ He walks over to get a better look at it, but he can already tell it's not going to work. Yeah, something like that is not going to be carried by someone like him. He could blast it with magic, maybe. If he had it. ]

I could try lifting part of it, but there's no guarantee I could lift it for even a second.

[ Here is the machine for reference because I'll probably forget it. Sooyoung turns her head to look over at him with a raised eyebrow. ]

Not even Yoo Joonghyuk can carry this junk. Look.

[ Joonghyuk seems to be the standard. Anyway, she gestures inside one of the holes, and there's a Bronzor in there. It has spiral eyes and looks like it partied too hard and ended up in this thing. ]

It's heavy.

[ 130 lbs-sort of heavy. ]

[partymagician]

[ Fai moves to get a better look. ]

Is this what you were looking for?

[ It's so small for its weight... Then again, it is made of metal. ]

[authoriser]

Yeah. It's mine. It absolutely refuses to go in the ball, so I was having a hard time.

[ Stupid metal plate... thing. ]

[partymagician]

[ Pfft.

He tries not to laugh. ]

Want me to give it a shot at getting it in a ball?

[authoriser]

All yours, catman.

[ Sooyoung hands over the pokeball that the Bronzor was initially caught into. ]

Have at it.

[partymagician]

[ Fai takes it, and because he can he tosses it in the air a couple of times and does a little spin before throwing it at the Bronzor. ]

[authoriser]

[ Sooyoung rolls her eyes, which pretty much mocks Fai for being a showoff. The Bronzor is sent into the pokeball! However, it breaks free a second later, resuming its snooze inside the machine. ]

This little frat wheel...

[partymagician]

Aw, it didn't work!

[ He didn't think it would, honestly. ]

I wonder if it's just tired... If we let it rest enough, maybe it will want to go back into the ball. [ A pause. ] Even though it could rest in there too.

[authoriser]

It didn't want to go in the ball even when it wasn't resting.

[ Ughhh. Sooyoung thinks this is such a stupid predicament. ]

You'd think these badges and ribbons or whatever would be foolproof, but no.

[partymagician]

[ He just laughs. ]

I suppose the pokemon just have a mind of their own in the end! Do you think it will follow you, at least? You may just have to keep it out of the ball at all times.

[authoriser]

This thing went off to party and ended up in a broken machine because it was probably mistaken as a cogwheel. What do you think?

[ She looks so dead inside. ]

[partymagician]

[ He laughs again because wow that's hilarious. ]

That sounds like a fun pokemon to me! I do wonder how you'll eventually get it back, though. I'm not sure how much help I could be.

I have no fucking clue--

[ Wait. ]

You got a magnet?

[partymagician]

[ He shakes his head. ]

No. I'm sure someone around here does, though. Do you want me to help you look for one?

[authoriser]

Yeah. If they got a Magnemite, that would be even better.

[ So like... Mari. ]

[partymagician]

I think I saw a few of those when I went to go battle the gym leader.

[ But they're probably be using for repairs right now... Hm. ]

[authoriser]

[ Sooyoung frowns, and looks over at Fai. ]

Catman, you got some new pokemon since I saw you last?

[partymagician]

[ Has he...? ]

I haven't caught anything since we arrived here. The most recent addition to my team is Swablu.

[authoriser]

Swablu... that bird with clouds for wings?

[ Something like that?? ]

[partymagician]

That's right!

[ Actually he'll just take Swablu out. She flutters in the air for a moment, chirping, before landing on top of Fai's head. ]

Isn't she cute?

[authoriser]

You know my opinions on cute things.

[ Like that Skitty cafe... anyway, she gets out her Ditto, who promptly turns into one too, but instead of going on top of Sooyoung's head, it goes over on top of Fai's Swablu. ]
