The nightmare is finally over and the aftermath sinks in. Wherever you are, news will eventually spread that the pokemon stopped their rampaging status, looking confused and some horrified by what had happened around them. Mari's Steelixes are finally off their guard duty, people are crying out of various emotions and people who are physically well enough flood out of the shelters in an attempt to search for their loved ones out there, whether they be people or pokemon. Some are reunited, some are not. Either way, people are in this together, comforting others over their losses and rebuilding the city. There's been quite a lot of destruction apart from the Pokemon Center and the hospital, after all. Some buildings are missing a roof, holes on the side wall, doors knocked down... some are unfortunate to have been entirely blasted away by an extremely strong rampaging pokemon's hyper beam (thanks, random Hydreigon).

After most people calm from their initial high emotions, the reconstruction starts. Of course, they also contact the people from Toran who helped with reconstruction efforts. Looks like the handymen will never rest...

The Pokemon Center is looking for additional manpower, getting pokeballs here to there, labeling whose pokemon are whose in things looking like incubators for those in queue of getting healed, and managing supplies. They are extremely short-staffed right now, so they will be looking for any help possible. Though, if you cause too much trouble than helping, you may be politely asked to leave or to help somewhere else. They don't have time for this. During the nights, the Pokemon Center may be crowded. After all, many people just lost their homes. They got nowhere to go.

The hospital is similar, in which they are also short-staffed. They're looking for disaster volunteers, and especially pokemon with healing capabilities to lessen the load on doctors and nurses who need to care for the more gravely wounded. With more help, the hospital will no longer seem as chaotic as before, but more along the lines of an orderly busy time. It helps that the people are no longer stuck inside due to the ongoings of the events outside, so the hospital is emptier than before, compared to when it was jam packed. The mental health department is also using Drowzees and Munnas to give people good dreams and eating nightmares without repercussions so that they can have a good night's rest. Not all wounds are physical, after all.

With the local Mart's help and other establishments, some people band together to supply people with food and drinks in a very open area in the park. Take a breather and eat something. If you look like you're running yourself ragged, one of the townspeople will drag you to eat and drink a proper meal. They don't need another patient in the hospital right now.

Remember that boba shop? Or those restaurants that you had the delicious meat from? Their damages vary from a broken window to being absolutely trashed. Pokemon and people alike are helping with moving the debris and cleaning up the mess. Someone piped up about recycling broken glass to make brand new windows with fire pokemon and proper glass making methods, so please don't throw them away!

The Radio Tower and the cemetery tower? They're both closed off to the public right now with yellow police caution tapes all around them. Your friendly policemen who all look the same advise nearby people to stay away from the two buildings at the moment. Please don't cause trouble or ask them questions... they're tired as it is like everyone else and they're not allowed to say anything for now, if ever. Your energy is better used elsewhere.

[Hythlo just laughs as he fixes his mask back in place properly.]

But you invited us, Hien! And I believe you would only be happy to dance with Fai, no?

[ He reluctantly gives the cloak back. He was planning on wearing it, but fine. ]

You're right that I don't need teaching but... you should at least dance with me!

[ Fai's just joking for the most part, though, smiling at the two of them. ]

[ Ugh. He would. Hythlo is right and Fai joking like that just makes him want to avoid this altogether. He shoves the song picking machine at Hythlo. ]

[Hien, you literally chose to do this with the two of them. Presumably to avoid Hythlo telling Fai about the Sex Songs.

Hythlo hums contentedly as he looks through the list... Oh, this one looks promising!]

Ah, Nanami-chan told me what this means! Video games!

[This is not video games.]

[ Fai actually has no idea what a joystick is so he'll just take Hythlo's word for it for now. He sits back down now, content to just watch this one. ]

Oh, I don't think I know this song!

[ Some of those lyrics sure are interesting. ]

[ Hien immediately sits down on the couch without a mic. He is definitely not singing this. Nope. The floor is all yours, Hythlo. ]

[Once again, Hien makes a tactical mistake: staying out of singing means that he's now the audience, and therefore the song can safely be directed at him. Baby, you make all of the choices! Other players can join us, if you're feeling like you wanna play games ♪

Hythlo's voice does crack at "sexiness", though, but out of trying very hard not to laugh rather than any embarrassment. He just thinks it's funny.]

[ He snags one of the tambourines off of the table and scoots closer to Hien before he starts shaking it, not to any beat or anything. ]

Phweet! You're doing great!

[ Will Fai ever actually whistle? Stay tuned. ]

[ Hien also has a tambourine in his hand, but he was actually shaking it to the beat, but now that Fai isn't, he just... ends up matching the off beat with him because he can't stand there being two different ones at the same time, even if it's wrong.

Hythlo is really good at shaking off his shame though. Hien continues to watch his performance and honestly... Hien himself doesn't want to be in on-stage mode to actually do that. He does laugh a little when Hythlo's voice cracks at the more sexy parts though, because he thinks it's funny. ]

[Hythlo gives the both of them an elaborate stage bow after the song ends, still trying not to laugh.]

Thank you, my dear audience, thank you! A most masterly performance, even if I do say so myself!

[He does an idol-ish pose with the mic and winks at the both of them, grinning widely.]

Now... I believe 'tis Hien's turn! Fai, would you be so good as to pick a song for him?

[ He goes through the list for a little while trying to find something when he finally makes a selection.

Before it starts to play, he turns to Hien. ]

Do you know this song? I heard it a couple of times in one of the worlds I visited.

[ He thinks it's a fun song, and even though it's not one of his favorites, he'd be willing to sing it too. ]

[ Hien's eyes are so dead right now behind his mask. He's pretty much resigned at this point and he might as well sing SOMETHING, and Bad Romance isn't all that bad compared to... other songs. ]

Unfortunately.

[ He picks up the mic with a sigh and actually sings it, but he sings it like a ballad, which creates a huge dissonance, especially that "I'M A FREE BITCH, BABY" part.

He stays seated the entire time though. He ain't dancing to this. ]

[It's Hythlo's turn on the tambourine! He picks up the beat quickly, although the fact that Hien is still sitting means that Hythlo is definitely going to bother him, maybe even gently bonk him on the head with the instrument. He's definitely having fun, though, and sings along a little at times.]

[ Fai's definitely dancing and he has a tambourine too, which he actually shakes to the beat.

When he's finished, Fai claps. ]

Wow, Hien! That was great! If I had known you would do so well, I would have picked a more dramatic song.

[ As if this one isn't already dramatic. ]

[ Hien just sat there and endured Hythlo bopping his head the entire time and lightly nudges him every single time he does it. When Fai brings up dramatics, he's reminded of the time he sang Rolling Girl with Hythlo and how he kinda screamed some parts of it. ]

... I can sing dramatic if I want to.

[ He huffs. It doesn't look like Hien is going to choose the next song, so either Hythlo or Fai can choose. Fai definitely has to sing though. ]

Come now, Hien, you should be more proactive!

[Hythlo laughs as he takes the song picker. Fine, fine, Fai did the last one, Hien is being a tsundere, the role falls to him. He's still in love with the random button and the gems it brings them, so random it is!

The song's beat is rather catchy, and Hythlo finds himself nodding along even before the actual lyrics start. He quite likes them, too: it's the kind of sufficiently dramatic and enigmatic image that he's fond of.]

[ Fai actually grabs the mic this time, sitting down next to Hien and putting an arm around his shoulders. His speaking voice is already lilting and gentle, and his singing voice isn't any different. He's no trained singer, that's for sure, but his voice is at least pleasant.

He likes the beat too, so it's easy enough for him to get into the song and sing along to the melody. But the lyrics resonate with him in a way as well, and he can't help but put just a little feeling into it. ]

[ The song is nice. The lyrics are strong. Though there's a brief moment of clarity when Fai puts an arm around his shoulders and Hien just chooses to rock back and forth side to side as Fai sings, and pulls Hythlo down to the couch so that he can do it with them. Join the swaying train. He claps along with his hands to the beat instead of using the tambourine. ]
