What: So Rhel wants to get all the information folks may have learned written down! Come help?

[Rhel can only hope that other people are of the same mind when it comes to gathering information. She doesn't know much about this place, she doubts other people know all that much about this place, and the more information they can get and make accessible the better.

So she asks Minato for help and tells the people she recognizes what the plan is and on the eighth of the month she settles down for a day-long info gathering fest.

She's quite pleased with the rather pretty journal and pencil she managed to find, too.]

OOC: Like it says in the explanation, Rhel wants to get all the information everyone's been gathering piecemeal and write it down! Feel free to threadjack if everyone's okay with it, I just play a nerd who'd do this sorta thing.

It seemed to get tense when I put my hand in the water when I got close enough, so I wouldn't have the answer.

Something in the water? I wonder... if it's clear enough to see through, if someone went swimming down there. Wouldn't have to get close to it at all.

[ Who would volunteer, though, when you're at a severe disadvantage in the water if the Gyarados does spot you? Itaru and Sagi don't count, fools who cannot swim. ]

If I have to guess, it must have offspring or something it's taking care of. I've noticed when feeding it, if I threw food closer to the center, it would pick up the berries and dive under.

[ Deductions... Though it would be nice if they had someone that can confirm. ]

Considering that it hasn’t let anyone up close and no one has seem to gain its favor, convincing it may be difficult.

[ What can they do, when they're weak and powerless before a giant sea monster? Minato looks down at his hands for a moment, and then back up at Joonghyuk. ]

...Isn't it just what you said? A bigger space. We have good intentions; we don't need to trick it. Patience and kindness like you've been showing it...

[ He digs into his pocket and pulls out a Great Ball, handing it to Joonghyuk. ]

Capture and release. If it understands us, and comes willingly, we don't have to fight.

It would all depend if a bigger space is what it wants. The vast ocean has its dangers as well. [ Joonghyuk thinks a Gyarados can easily control a lake, but there must be bigger things in the sea. ] Good intentions only get you so far.

[ It doesn't stop him from taking the great ball, though. He looks at it, unsure if capturing it now is even feasible. Sighing. ]

... We should still exhaust all our options.

[ It's not a bad idea, though. He's, uh. Pretty sure he's part of the reason the Gyarados is so strong, batting and losing to it for days and days in the past month he's been here. ]
