[ With an info-gathering session on the eighth, Nanami decides to wait a few more days until they're about two weeks into the month to gather everyone again. She realizes that all the team members haven't sat down properly to bond with each other in a single group setting. She knows the importance of making sure that you get every single unit to have at least an A-rank with someone (S-rank if they're super compatible) and keeping up team morale so, on the thirteenth, a familiar shiny Mimikyu comes running up to everyone with a written note pinned on his costume: ]

team meeting plans to go to other islands and other discussions free food at Restaurant Le Nah tomorrow at 6:00pm - Nanami

[ Upon entering Le Nah the following day, a waiter will show the trainer to a large area in the back with multiple tables pushed together. There are already some appetizers ordered and spread across so feel free to help yourself. Nanami sits near the middle with her Mimikyu, feeding him by dropping little bits of food in front of him, and talking with her Mudkip, who just :V :V :V, as if she understands what he's saying. ]

[Here's a new(?) face. It's the guy who was originally in green day one and departed immediately, hair braided on the side just as it was back then. He holds himself differently from Gray, shoulders more square, voice firm instead of weak. His clothes are different, too. Not an outfit Gray would have been seen in, but something from the island for sure.]

It took me forever to save enough for new clothes... where did she get all that money?

[Hey, what's up, fellow dude that seems to just be here for the food. Cliff did some minimal looking into the issues around the island, but mostly he's been getting soaked and being angry about stuff. The only good part has been the couple of meat -- real meat, not fish -- dishes slowly running out of supply at this restaurant. Gotta savor it while he can.]

Minato said she's good at gambling, but nobody's that good. I'm calling bullshit.

Maybe she hacked the machine? Those things are programmed to have certain odds.

[On some level he knew that things are always slated in the house's favor, but it's still irritating to hear.]

It's a machine? [He hasn't been interested in the Game Corner, seeing as he didn't really have anything to bet in the first place. He's mostly been wandering around hoping to find literally anything that would give him hope.] Then she's gotta be hacking. With real cards and shit you can do math things, but not a machine...

How hasn't she been kicked out?

Maybe the owners are stupid. Or too loaded to care.

Pff. Rich people are the stingiest motherfuckers on the planet when it comes to other people. Definitely the first one. Guess it's good for us, though... Meat's pretty expensive here, since they're running out.

[ There are a lot more than just slots. There are cards, fighting games, simple casual ones, and tons of others. She has mastered them all. ]

Deal. [He has to say it before any stipulations are in place where he'll lose something if she can do it.

...And okay, so. He might have to try every single thing -- not just each activity, but every machine or table available -- at first because he's dubious, then because he's bewildered, and finally because he's cracking up, what the hell is even happening, assuming that she'll let it go on that long.]

[ She will absolutely let it go on for that long because she has a reputation to uphold and, well, this is fun. They won't be able to stay away from the meeting for too long, so she starts to finish up by the time that Cliff starts to laugh. ]

You have no idea the weird shit I've seen the past few months, but I gotta say this is still plenty weird.

[A good weird, for a change. Even if he only takes a third of the money, that's still plenty for him to get himself and Toto taken care of for a while and have enough leftover for cigarettes, he's pretty sure. He still hasn't gotten used to the exchange rate, math sucks anyway.]

How are you doing that? Can you teach me?

[ Unfortunately, the coins can only be used in exchange for the prizes in the Game Corner, but Nanami just takes those prizes and sells them for money so Cliff can do the same. She'll give him a third of her winnings because she's just nice like that. ]

I'm just playing the games, but I can teach you whichever one you want to play. Some are easier than others, like the Dodrio Berry Picking.
