[OPEN] 9/15 - Team Meeting
| team meeting plans to go to other islands and other discussions free food at Restaurant Le Nah tomorrow at 6:00pm - Nanami |
[ Upon entering Le Nah the following day, a waiter will show the trainer to a large area in the back with multiple tables pushed together. There are already some appetizers ordered and spread across so feel free to help yourself. Nanami sits near the middle with her Mimikyu, feeding him by dropping little bits of food in front of him, and talking with her Mudkip, who just :V :V :V, as if she understands what he's saying. ]
( ooc: threadjacking is highly recommended in this log as it will be a group discussion! feel free to also create new top-levels that will only have a single type of discussion to keep things focused on the topic. )

[ Hey, whatever the team wants, the team gets. She doesn't think of herself as the protagonist or the leader of this game. She's just that helpful NPC. ]
no subject
[This is anti-babyface discrimination.]
no subject
[ Puts Sagi into the straight baby jail. ]
no subject
N-Not really... I don't really get why we need one, anyway.
no subject
[ That's just how it is. ]
no subject
[It's confusing!]
no subject
[ Even without some informal sort of name. ]
no subject
...This is the type of "reasoning" that makes the clearest sense to Sagi, honestly. He'll take a second to think about name suggestions after all.]
If you want it to catch on, it should at least be short and make sense. Like... the Dimensional Rift Rangers, because we fell out of one. "Rift Rangers, move out!"
[He even points a finger and strikes a pose, like he would while playing with kids back home. He holds it for maybe a couple seconds before remembering he's not quite among friends here.]
...Something like that.
no subject
Oh, you even have a pose! Mmhm, Rift Rangers is short and easy to remember.
[ Sagi sure caught Nanami's attention with his dramatic flair. She's not often excited nor does she, well, emote more than being sleepy so he's doing something right. ]

[He's definitely gay tho.]
no subject
Okay, I'll put a vote against it. What kind of names do you like?
no subject
[We're trying to help the people of the island, right? So...]
Gay Teenage Toran Liberation Front.
no subject
[ It's almost like a tongue twister if you try to say it really quickly. ]
no subject
[When you're fighting a Gym Leader you have to have a cool chant, Akira... everyone knows that...]
Maybe something Pokémon related.
no subject
[ Then they can just take that part and combine it with something Pokemon-related like... Gay Pikachus or something. ]
no subject
[But they have to come up with something that's better and doesn't translate to 'seafood', Gira.]
I guess not all of us are gay teenagers, but the Toran liberation part is important.
no subject
[ In before someone actually votes for it though.]
no subject
[ Some people name their villages in Animal Navigating in strange things. She can't go against it if people are having fun. Everyone can play games in their own way. ]
no subject
[ Not that he really cares too much about names. Though, he's more curious about her so. ] Are you gonna contribute any names?
no subject
[ Translation: nah because she's a side character. ]
no subject
[ Dokja may not know video game logic, but he does know webnovels and even more familiar with a particular protagonist. His next words come with a chuckle. ] The protagonist I know here won't be very useful with names unfortunately.
no subject
Oh, who's your protagonist?
no subject
[ He points at the man nearby, who just gives off the aura of a protagonist honestly. Even if his personality is sharp and he's distant.. he has a way of speaking that moves people in particular moments. ]
no subject
[ See many JRPGs as examples. ]
