What: So Rhel wants to get all the information folks may have learned written down! Come help?

[Rhel can only hope that other people are of the same mind when it comes to gathering information. She doesn't know much about this place, she doubts other people know all that much about this place, and the more information they can get and make accessible the better.

So she asks Minato for help and tells the people she recognizes what the plan is and on the eighth of the month she settles down for a day-long info gathering fest.

She's quite pleased with the rather pretty journal and pencil she managed to find, too.]

OOC: Like it says in the explanation, Rhel wants to get all the information everyone's been gathering piecemeal and write it down! Feel free to threadjack if everyone's okay with it, I just play a nerd who'd do this sorta thing.

[Atsushi hasn't met Rhel, but she's obviously the one. The only cat girl around. The information he brings to the meeting is rather useless for the most part. His investigations so far have been less than fruitful. As he approaches her, he's struck by the notion that this information might not even be what Rhel was referring to. Maybe she wants to know things about Cassava and Toran, this world, and Pokemon. He should have asked, but it's too late now.]

Um, hello... I have, this- here!

[He holds out a Pikachu notebook. It was the cheapest one in the store. Inside, it contains notes under different headers. The writing is large and meticulous, the letters fitting exactly into the ruled lines like it was written by an overachieving seven year old trying to copy words perfectly.]

Are you running this meeting, or can I bring up some... topics?

[Perks to being surrounded by Hyurs: it's easy to find her. Rhel smiles when someone approaches and holds out a notebook that doesn't take long to glance through (gods bless neat handwriting, who cares if it looks like a child wrote it).]

It's less a "meeting" and more just trying to get everything organized, so yes, of course you can bring whatever might be relevant up!

Okay... I have four things I want to discuss. I guess a couple are just announcements.

[He's already having second thoughts about bringing anything up. What if they're stupid topics? What if everyone already knows?]

T-they're all announcements, really. The first one... Well, has anyone else just received random... things? F-from home, or not...?

I haven't, no, not that I've noticed, at least. But you have?

I got a rocket launcher.

[Considering Fai didn't know what one was, maybe cat lady doesn't either.]

It's a weapon that fires explosive projectiles. Anyway, I have it in my locker at the boba shop because I couldn't find any storage units in Toran. That's unimportant, though. Um, I wanted to maybe use it on the Gyarados if the Mudkips fail.

[Well, she's never heard of that, but...]

How big is this weapon, exactly?

Uh... It's about five feet, but it... folds in half, kind of.

[It barely fits in the locker.]

[Right, yeah, she has definitely seen something like that in Ishgard. What the fuck.]

And you just found it? Or did someone give it to you, or...?

I've been staying at the Pokemon Center and is was just... there, next to me, when I woke up. It's mine. I mean, I know where it came from, just not how it got here.

[He pauses for a moment, because the other item isn't concerning in the least, except for the lack of recognition.]

There was... also a pink scarf, which is not mine, and... I don't know how that got there either.

At this point, I think I would be more concerned about where the launcher came from and how it got there without you realizing.

[Like. Seriously.]

Did it have any of the...rockets?

[He nods, because he is very concerned about this too.]

[What if more show up? What if it gets into the wrong hands?]

I don't think it's a good idea for weapons to be appearing out of thin air. So, I think we should maybe have a list of... items... that we've found like that.

[Well, that's a terrifying thought.]

Not a bad idea. It would help others find things that may belong to them, after all.

Yeah. Sort of a directory.

[Atsushi looks around the immediate area, very conspicuously, to make sure a certain person is not in earshot, if she's attending this meeting at all.]

I'm particularly concerned about the magically appearing weapons because... Beatrice? She um... she's made threats against us all and think that should be documented. They were vague, so I don't know what she's planning to do, but she's not to be trusted.

Against all of us? Just out of hand like that, completely unprompted?

W-we were talking about the storm blocking the island off, and she said she was capable of doing that herself and other "much worse things".

[In his opinion, she was being very blatant with her intentions.]

She went on to say that we won't know what she's planning until it's done, but we'll know who did it. It's a threat, right?

[This may be a record for "fastest time Rhel's been threatened", though she's never met this woman before.]

It does sound like one, though in my experience people who say things like "you won't know what I'm planning until it's done" rarely manage to get anything...well, done. Still, can't hurt to be cautious.

[Toran overall has been fairly calm compared to his everyday experiences, and he's just waiting for someone like Beatrice to unveil an elaborate plan of some sort.]

I suppose people... exaggerate.

At least a little. The most terrifying people are the ones who don't tell you what they're planning, after all.

[Another thing to worry about. What else did he have to say? Oh.]

My other topics are, I guess, more... announcements? One, is that I have a supply a pure Combee honey and I'm selling it for Pokemon bait; uh, anyone can drop by the boba shop for that. Also... can we trade Pokemon? I'd like to exchange a temperamental Spearow...

[ Joonghyuk has only been listening in, but this gets his attention. ]

... If people are able to regain items, it shouldn't be out of the realm to think they may recover their abilities from their world in the future.

[ At least, from his experience, to keep one's mind open is important. It's better to prevent than to act after the deed is done. ]

Threats shouldn't be taken too lightly.

Well, yes, but in my experience nothing short of a god can do this sort of weather...shite and if whatever brought us all here can do that to a god, then I think we've bigger problems to worry about.

[Joonghyuk at least finding the prospect of threats credible gives Atsushi more confidence to continue the topic. The thought of regaining abilities is not something to gloss over either.]

I've seen some... very powerful people, and I really think that at least we should... keep an eye on her.

I agree with at least keeping an eye on her.

[ While Joonghyuk doesn't disagree with Rhel, he doesn't want to deal with infighting and other obstacles thrown in their way when it can be prevented early on. ]

We can't handle the bigger problems if the thorns in our side lodge in deeper and poison us.

[As far as Sagi knows, everyone else here is smarter and/or luckier than him, and his own investigations haven't been going great, so he'd intended to just hang out quietly in a corner. Joonghyuk mentioning "abilities", however, makes him look a little uncomfortable. And that's before the other lady, unprompted, brings up "gods"...

He's compelled to chime in. Hesitantly, since he doubts how much it'll help, but compelled all the same.]

He's got a point. I think that might be what already happened to my wings. They felt weaker for a few days, but they're fine now.

[Well, up until about ten seconds ago he'd thought the explanation was something else, but that's beside the point. That's just the story of his life.]

If that small amount of power can survive crossing over to wherever this is, a god could too. Easily. So infighting might even be part of the plan.

I suppose I was being a bit optimistic, hoping that no one would ever try something like that, hm?
